Athens
Athens is the historic capital of Greece and the gateway to the islands.
It is home to some of the world’s most important ancient monuments, primarily
the iconic Acropolis and the Parthenon. Beyond the ruins, visitors can
explore the charming, pedestrian-friendly Plaka neighborhood, enjoy rooftop
restaurants, and experience a vibrant, modern European city.
Santorini
Santorini is arguably the most famous island in the world. Known for its
whitewashed cliffside buildings, blue-domed churches, and incredibly
romantic sunsets in the village of Oia. Formed by a massive volcanic
eruption, the island offers luxury cave-hotels, unique black and red sand
beaches, and world-class wine tasting.
Mykonos
Mykonos is the glamorous, cosmopolitan party island of the Cyclades. Known
for its upscale beach clubs, boutique shopping, and vibrant nightlife,
it also charms visitors with its labyrinth of narrow, whitewashed streets
in Mykonos Town (Chora) and the iconic row of historic windmills overlooking
the sea.
Crete
Crete is the largest Greek island, functioning almost like a small country
of its own. It offers a diverse mix of ancient ruins (like the Palace of Knossos),
dramatic mountain hiking trails (Samaria Gorge), and some of Greece's most stunning,
pink-sand beaches (Elafonissi). It is perfect for travelers looking for adventure and
authentic local culture.
Meteora
Located on the mainland, Meteora is a breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It features a complex of Eastern Orthodox monasteries precipitously built on top of
towering, natural sandstone rock pillars. The dramatic scenery and spiritual
atmosphere make it one of Greece’s most awe-inspiring and highly photographed
attractions.
